This is my first post of my new blog just trying to figure all of this out. My goal is to share my art and the journey.
There is a saying you all might have heard, that it is not about the destination, but it is all about the journey that matters. Sorry not sure who wrote it but it once was said to me when I was having a frustrating  day with my art. This has been a saying that has since then resonated with me and has kept me encouraged to keep going forward, which leads me to another saying that I know all of you have also heard, this is a hard saying to swallow you see it says, that it takes roughly ten thousand hours of practice to achieve mastery in a field. I looked it up it was from a book that a Malcolm Gladwell wrote. So I am going to use this blog spot to record and share my journey

I have started this journey few years back so I do have some of those hours under my belt.
I am not sure how many, some of them are recorded online when you google my name.

I am not saying that what you will find is great or maybe not even good, but it is the beginning of my journey.

I have tried blogging before but was discouraged because of my writing skills.
My writing skill are still not the best but this is also part of my journey.

I recently went to a great workshop with Carol Marine (if you click on her name you will be able to visit here blog.) It is because of the wonderful week of exploration I have a new courage to share my journey. Here are my beginnings at carols workshop. ( below is some of what I learned with Carol.

So if you are here and have a similar story where fear has kept you starting or completing a creative journey, then join me so we can encourage one another.

My next part of this journey is to join Leslie Saeta on her 30 day creative challenge, then off to join Dailypaintworks.com to publish my art.

See you all there
